Although Christmas is meant to be a happy, peaceful, and joyful time, for many people it brings multiple stressors.
It could be that you experience financial pressure, relationship, or family pressure, there could also be emotional triggers.
There may be an expectation that you should be full of Christmas cheer, however, it is important to remember that not everything can or should be perfect, be kind to yourself and make time for yourself. Learning to say no can be helpful!
Conflicts and stressed relations can come to the surface this time of the year. if there are difficulties in your relationship or perhaps the relationship has broken down then Christmas could be a sad and lonely time.
You would not be alone if this is you at this time of year and Hope Springs would like to encourage you to reach out and share the load of your stress.
